Risk Control Strategies (RCS) has expanded its services to include an insurance investigation division based in West Palm Beach, Fla.
With more than $200 billion lost from fraudulent activities each year in the U.S., the margin for error in mitigating fraud that impacts insurance carriers is minimal, at best. RCS’ team of former federal and state law enforcement professionals have real-world investigative and surveillance experience in gathering evidence for successful case resolution.
“We are more than your typical surveillance company,” says managing director of Florida, Steve Rubino. “We take a more holistic approach to the investigation. We don’t just conduct surveillance; we conduct an investigation that enables us to have a better understanding of a claimant’s activity than just five or 10 minutes of tape during a three-day surveillance period.”
RCS will begin the claims validation process by conducting covert surveillance with video equipment utilizing proven methodology in obtaining clear and concise evidence to mitigate costs. From activity checks and a neighborhood canvass to comprehensive covert surveillance, the RCS professional deploys claimant specific strategies to obtain the required results. To further address this significant concern, RCS will be providing medical provider fraud analysis for its clients. Advanced claims mitigation and investigative statement gathering will be added to the division’s portfolio.
